2 new shorts

November 30, 2008

Got my but in gear and finished 2 new film projects. Hooray!

First thing out the door is a new microshort called The Stakeout. Stars the usual suspects Tim H. and Neil:

The other is a video staring Tim Racine and myself. It’s a segment from a fake cable access show called ‘Ed Rebel’s Rebel Radio Video Countdown’. Take a look at what happens when we cut to a Smoking Popes video:

We were lucky to have CanTV producer/expert Steve Niketopoulos perform all live edits and wipes which made this video extra excellent.

Hope you enjoy ’em. Stay turned, got lots more on the way!

FutureCop International!

November 21, 2008

Oi! Futurecop 2010 has been accepted to Portable Film Festival in Australia, mate!

What’s even better: it’s an online film fest, so no need to hop on a plane. According to the site, the Portable Film Fest is:

“…an ongoing international short film festival with a difference. No cinema, no queue, no tickets. The Portable Film Festival is online, downloadable and available wherever and whenever you want to see it. We stream video online, and allow without-charge download to popular consumer media devices such as ipods, psps, or 3g mobile phones for our viewers.”

Soon you will have Futurecop beamed directly to your portable telephone, wireless computing device or beeper-phone!

I wonder what David Lynch thinks about this?
